Stop indexing a channel

Stopping indexing transitions the channel to the UNINDEXED state — Diggiest halts all future message fetching, but leaves existing content published.
  1. In any channel on your Discord server, type the /unindex slash command.
  2. Select the channel you want to stop indexing from the dropdown.
  3. Diggiest will confirm that the channel has been removed from indexing.

Unpublish a channel

Unpublishing transitions the channel to the UNPUBLISHED state — Diggiest stops fetching new messages and takes all existing channel content offline.
  1. In any channel on your Discord server, type the /unpublish slash command.
  2. Select the channel you want to unpublish from the dropdown.
  3. Diggiest will confirm that the channel’s content has been removed.
Unpublishing a channel does not delete messages from Discord — it only removes them from Diggiest. Search engines may take time to reflect the removal.

Channel states

Each action above transitions a channel to a different state. See Channel States for a full explanation of what each state means and how they compare.

Check indexing status

Use the /status command in any channel to see a full breakdown of all indexed channels on your server. See Get Server Status for details on the output and what each state means.
